Where Do You Stand?

Weekly Wud Ups

Grind Cafe & Catering
Last Friday Oliver and I went to visit our friends at Grind Cafe and Catering. If you don’t know Melissa and Bryan and the staff of Grind you are truly missing out. Melissa and Bryan have created such an incredible cafe on the Sarnia waterfront and their catering business is the best around. They are always coming up with new menu items for the downtown lunch crowd and you can see "what's to eat" over social media on a daily basis....or take it from me and just show up and order "the special" ....you'll never be disappointed. In the summer time they have a patio that looks out on to the waterfront and with chill tunes, delicious food, beers and cocktails you will often find this place busy.
If you have a special event coming up such as a Corporate Function, Birthday party, Baby/Bridal Shower, Wedding, small get together with friends and family or even if you're just looking for some catered dinners Grind is there to make it a memorable meal. I can't say enough about this phenomenal local business. Work (eat) with them once and you'll come back again and again, not only because of the food but because they get to know you and treat you like family. Grind is small town personality with big city flavour. Check them out now, and thank me later. XOXO
The Fox and The Hound

It's been a while since I've done a Weekly Wup Up, but as I was updating the wesbite tonight I thought what better opportunity than to throw some major compliments to my favourite Doggy Daycare -The Fox and The Hound. We take our dog Tucker there a few times a week and the girls are always super friendly, and Tucker comes home completely poop out from playing with all his buddies all day. The owner Katie takes the time to get to know every dog and every owner which makes me feel like Tucker is truly part of her family as well. The Fox and The Hound not only offer day care but also offer overnight accomodations, grooming, dog food, treats and some accessories. On holidays we've recieved Christmas pictures, Puppy Valentines hearts, halloween dog treat bags and on Tuckers birthday he even got a picture in a party hat and balloons. It's awesome that Tucker is treated with the same amount of love that Trevor and I show him when he goes to F&H. Check them out online or on facebook and you're sure to see so much love and support coming from all their satisfied customers, and you will also see tons of pictures of the dogs all playing together in the yard. Thanks Katie and Crew for everything. We have one super happy puppy!!

The Root Natural Health Clinic Mississauga

This past weekend I got the pleasure to travel down to The Root Natural Health Clinic in Mississauga for an Energy Open House.

Established in 2014 by Dr. Lauren Wedlock Brown this clinic offers natural health care to the residents of Mississauga and numerous out of town clients. With a strong focus on finding the "root" cause of the symptoms and helping her clients to build the foundations for optimal health Lauren is a highly regarded physician. Clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, emotional and lifestyle counselling are among the wide range of services offered at The Root.
The Energy Open House this past weekend included Acupuncture, Yoga, Aura photographs, tarot readings and consultations for new clients. Check out the website listed below for other classes and workshops coming soon such as Prenatal Yoga, Intro to Tarot and a workshop dedicated to the Power of Self Compassion for those of us who struggle with our inner critic.
Thank you so much Lauren for an amazing day at your clinic. I am in love with the all natural face wash and the variety of teas from the detox to the sleep and calm tea.
So in closing if you've got something ailing you give Dr. Lauren a call and feel confident in sourcing a healthier option to the chemical ones we so regularly rely on.

Ambar Picazo- SkillCorps Peru July 2015

My dear friend Ambar Picazo will be traveling to Peru in July of 2015 to work with the Global Austism Project.

Please head over to the SkillCorps website to read her story and consider making a donation to help her reach her goal so that she may be part of the incredible team heading to Peru. Even if it's only a few dollars every little bit makes a difference. Thanks Ambar for being that difference for those with Autism.

Much Love!! Katers
